Adding a maternity panel to tights?
Hi i’m asking this question on behalf of my pregnant friend-
She really wants a pair of cable knit tights- they’re like woolen ones, really cosy and nice. She was asking if sewing some jersey material at the top- so that the tights sat under the bump, but then the panel went over the bump- would be possible? Using a sewing machine, would the stitching hold?

Why don’t you just buy new maternity tights
– You can get them from Boots or any other drugs store
